Can I buy a tour for my whole family on the Street Cars or Cable Cars?

Make sure each person joining you on a tour has also downloaded the app, and follow the directions after you have made your purchase. The audio looks like it's playing, why can't I hear the audio?

Make sure your mobile device has Silent Mode turned off, and your device volume is turned up to a comfortable setting. The audio volume is dependent on your mobile device and/or the vehicle’s audio settings.  We recommend that you set the device audio volume to a comfortable setting so that you are able to hear the tour audio. On your vehicle, makes sure that both the mobile device and vehicle’s audio settings are correctly set.

Why is there a long silence between points of interest?

Some mobile devices may not be receiving the correct GPS signals, especially in areas that have tall buildings. While this is rare, this may happen on older devices, or if you haven’t enabled your GPS or WiFi settings to allow TourCentric to find your device.

How do I get help with the TourCentric App?

Life isn’t perfect, and neither is technology.  If you run across a snag with the app while on a tour, the Help Desk is a great place to find answers to most questions about the TourCentric app or website. If there is a glitch that you are not able to find the solution for, the Help Desk will guide you towards getting the help you need to start, or continue your tour experience.

Why is the volume so low?

The audio volume can vary depending on your mobile device, the type of headphones you are using, and/or the vehicle’s audio settings. We recommend that you set the device audio volume to a comfortable setting so that you are able to hear the tour audio. On your vehicle, makes sure that both the mobile device and vehicle’s audio settings are correctly set.

These tours are awesome! Can I keep the content to play later?

Thank you!  At this time we have no way for the audio files to be available on your mobile device for listening enjoyment after you have taken the tour.  However, check back with us later to see when this will be available.

Are all these stories true?

Of course!  We have researched our stories for months and we are confident that the stories are accurate, to the best of our knowledge.

Are you guys famous?

Hardly, but the people and places that we highlight on our tours are very famous.

How many times can I take the tour?

The purchase of a tour on the app is good for 72 Hours on an unlimited basis.

Where should I sit on the Street Cars/Cable Cars?

We recommend sitting on the right-hand side of the vehicle, and it’s best to sit towards the rear, as you will get more time to view the points of interest.

Where's the best place to start the tours?

For the Street Cars & Cable Car Tours, It’s always best to start the tours at the line terminals, that way you get the best, most complete tour possible.

For the Self-Drive Tours, simply start the tour within the respective city.  The Mobile App will provide driving directions to the nearest next Point of Interest on the circular tour path.
